You'll probably need fewer DNS Queries/Month than the number of pageviews you have on your site. You can figure this out by looking at your domain's configuration with your current DNS provider (which may be your registrar). In general, you'll need fewer DNS records with NS1 than with other providers because our advanced traffic management configuration "collapses" complex setups. You can always get additional records as needed.
NS1's Filter Chain routing engine is incredibly powerful. A single Filter Chain is capable of mixing and matching dozens of routing algorithms to achieve a granular and powerful routing approach — far more simply and flexibly than traditional DNS providers. NS1's Monitors detect up/down status of your resources such as web servers, load balancers, CDNs, and more. A single Monitor can feed many different Filter Chains, so if you have several websites on a single server, the same monitor can inform the Filter Chains for each domain. We encourage you to monitor each resource once, and feed the data into any Filter Chains that leverage that resource.

We're deeply committed to customer satisfaction, and we have an accommodating refund policy that shows it. Excluding custom contracts, if you write in to request a refund within 5 days of making any form of payment through our website, you will get a full refund — no hassle.
To cancel your contract, please contact us at least 7 business days prior to the end of your billing cycle. You can call us at +1.855.GET.NSONE, or email billing@ns1.com from an authorized email account. After cancellation, you may see an additional invoice from us for any unpaid amount and/or accrued overages. NS1 does not currently charge any early termination fee. Users within contract are responsible for the full amount owed for the entire contract length..
When you sign up for a paid plan or add a credit card to your account, we do a US$1 pre-authorization to verify your credit card details. A pre-authorization is a temporary hold of a specific amount of the available balance on a credit or debit card. The pre-authorization is not a charge and you are not responsible for paying it. The pre-authorization will be removed after a couple days.
